Supported User Agents

Use this reference to choose the browser that solves a task. The turnstile, interstitial, datadome, and akamai task types accept an optional useragent request field that selects the solver browser by family, platform, and version.

Cookie-bound results (interstitial, datadome, and akamai) include the solved browser profile's actual user-agent in solution.useragent. Replay cookies with that exact string, because the session is bound to it.

What the useragent Field Selects

PartRecognized in the stringEffect
Browser familyChrome/Chromium (Chrome/, Chromium/, CriOS/) or Firefox (Firefox/, FxiOS/)Selects the browser kernel family.
PlatformWindows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS platform tokensSelects the matching platform persona. Android and iOS run in device mode.
VersionThe browser major version — Chrome/150.0.0.0 → 150, CriOS/150.0.7871.47 → 150, Firefox/153.0 → 153interstitial, datadome, and akamai open that exact browser version. turnstile selects family and platform only and chooses the version itself.
Task typeuseragentSelectsWhen omitted
Cloudflare TurnstileOptionalBrowser family + platform. A useragent (like a custom proxy) gives the task a dedicated browser instead of a shared pool slot. The solver's default shared pool browser.
Cloudflare InterstitialOptional (proxy required)Browser family + platform + exact version. The newest installed Chrome version.
DataDomeOptional (proxy required)Browser family + platform + exact version. The newest installed Chrome version with the default macOS desktop profile.
AkamaiOptional (proxy required)Browser family + platform + exact version. The node's default browser profile; solution.useragent reports the identity that was used.

Chrome / Chromium

Supported versions: Chrome 146 and newer. The strings below cover Chrome 146 through Chrome 154 on every platform; newer Chrome releases are added to the fleet over time.

If a task requests a version that is not available on the solving node, the task fails with an explicit error instead of silently running a different version.

Profile and Replay Notes

  • Every solve mints a fresh browser profile, so minor details of the returned user-agent can vary between solves within a supported version — for example the iOS version, the Android release and Gecko build digits on Firefox profiles, and the macOS minor version or Linux variant on Firefox profiles. The strings on this page are exact and accepted as request values.
  • Replay cookie-based results with the returned solution.useragent through the same proxy exit. For Chrome profiles, send Client Hints (sec-ch-ua, sec-ch-ua-mobile, sec-ch-ua-platform) consistent with the returned version; Firefox profiles send no Client Hints.
  • The useragent field accepts at most 512 characters.

Other Task Types

Other task types may also accept a useragent field with task-specific behavior — see the individual task pages. The family, platform, and version selection described on this page applies to turnstile, interstitial, and datadome.
